 Birmingham Central Backpackers is surrounded by city centre nightlife. With 24
hour access it’s no wonder that this hostel now occupies two buildings within a
minute’s walk of each other! You can stay here in basic comfort in a private
twin room with shared bathroom that contains a wardrobe, chest of drawers,
colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities, or a bed in a dormitory which
sleeps between 5 and 8 people with drawers and lockers. Most dorms have showers
and sinks, with toilets nearby.

To chill out at Birmingham Central Backpackers go to the bar or the common room
with working fireplace to watch movies on the large TV screen, read, play games
or use the free internet terminals. If you bring your laptop free WiFi is
available too. A basic continental breakfast is provided. For your other meals
you can cook in the kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, or
head to the small coffee shop area at reception serving drinks (including
alcoholic drinks) and snacks. |

If you love exploring nightlife you can’t ask for a better location than
Birmingham Central Backpackers in Digbeth which is home to some of Birmingham’s
largest clubs such as Sanctuary and AIR (Godskitchen). You will also find the
Old Crown Pub nearby which dates back to the 1400’s as well as the restaurants,
cafes and clubs of Broad Street and Brindley Place. If you love shopping you can
walk to Europe’s largest city centre shopping centre the Bull Ring and its
variety of markets. |

To use the lockers in your
dormitory at Birmingham Central Backpackers you will need to bring your own lock
or buy one from reception.
Your bed linen is included in the price and
towels are provided free of charge.
Birmingham Central Backpackers is a
non smoking building but there is an outside patio you can use.
You will
find plenty of tourist attraction leaflets at Birmingham Central Backpackers, as
well as friendly international staff who will try to answer all of your
questions and help you make the most of Birmingham.
If you are
booking for more than 1 person at Birmingham Central Backpackers you can request
to be placed in the same dormitory, but this cannot be guaranteed. If you are
making a group booking you can request to share an entire dormitory, but it
cannot be guaranteed that you will all be placed in the same dormitory and have
the room to yourselves. |

On Foot |

If you travel to Birmingham by train, exit Birmingham New Street Station onto
New Street itself and turn to your right. Walk down New Street, through the Bull
Ring and down the steps to the markets. Once you’ve walked through the markets
turn left to get to the traffic lights. Cross the lights and walk up Digbeth
High Street. Turn left onto Milk Street and you will soon spot Birmingham
Central Backpackers above Billy’s Bar on your left.
If you travel by
coach, exit Digbeth Coach Station and walk across the high street. Walk down
Milk Street in front of you and you will find Birmingham Central Backpackers on
the left above Billy’s Bar.
