Hotel was really bad in all possible ways. Shabby, stuffy, ancient sanitary equipment, worn out carpets, noisy street, broken elevator. But worst of all total absence of ventilation shafts in the rooms and no matter how much we opened the window the air in the room stood still. I wonder if it is at all legal in regards to building regulations. It would not be legal in Denmark. Breakfast was so poor that the only thing worth trying was coffee. We are really sorry that we chose this hotel. Clearly this is a budget hotel, but it was not worth 90 pounds per night. The only good thing about this hotel is that you can walk to Oxford street in 10 minutes

The hotel was very pleasant with clean rooms and amenities. Breakfast was continental but more than adequate. Staff were helpful and courteous. I could recommend it if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the centre of London, close to shopping and theatre.

It was a lovelly hotel, very clean and tidy. The maid service was great, beds were made everyday for us and our room was spotless. The breakfast was lovely, there was something for everyone even the kids. Would definately stay there again.

Quaint is the word that springs to mind as it is very old-fashioned. However, the beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff friendly and helpful. For such a central location very good value for money. I would stay there again
