Take Junction 1 to exit the M8. As you come off the motorway bear left onto The City of Edinburgh Bypass. Drive to the first roundabout and take the second exit onto the A8, which will take you into Edinburgh. Continue straight along the A8 until you come to Haymarket Railway Station on your right. Continue onto Maitland Street, but then take a left onto Palmerston Place and then a right onto Rothesay Place. You will soon see Argyll Town House on this street.

From Haymarket Station, walk straight down Maitland Street until you see Palmerston Place on the left. Turn down here and then take a right onto Rothesay Place, where Argyll Town House is situated.
