After arrivinbg fairly late at night and not knowing the area to get cash out it was agreed that I could leave a 50% deposit and pay the rest in the morning, this was fine with the receptionist, who could hardly speak English. After my girlfriend and I went to sleep, I got a knock at the door just before midnight telling me to get the money now. I had to walk down the dodgy street in pyjamas and get cash out, how ridiculous! Noise levels were high during the night, room was ok?? Upon signing out, the 'reception' was closed I knocked, no answer, so I rang the number on the door after hearing the phone ring inside the door a man answered who said just to throw the key under the door, fairly dingy area, not too far from town

Very friendly staff. Very well maintained rooms. Quick assistance. Definitely recommended for budget hotel stay. I've extended my stay here!

Stayed there for 10 nights and was great! Probably the best value for money stay in London. We had the ensuite room - everything was very clean and tidy with rooms being cleaned almost everyday. New towels and sheets available each day too! Highly recommend if you need somewhere cheap :)

I chose this hotel from the opinions on TravelStay here. At first the hotel looks strange, then is simple but comfortable. Cleaning acceptable, some facilities, bathroom private in or out of bedrooms. Is 20 minutes to centre, 24h bus, 10 min on foot to tube and there are many shops nearby, many "cheap" shops for eating, and Abbots Park hotel is by the side of a lovely park.

Clean and comfortable, recently updated. Very helpful, efficient and friendly reception. No tea or coffee in rooms but there is access to these downstairs. Front door is just a side door with the number scribbled on it - to be moved shortly hopefully as it gives a poor impression. It was difficult to get to this location - the central line tube station is at least another 10 minutes by bus from the hotel, not walkable with suitcases. If there are problems with the tube, it's hard to get to without bus knowledge. Its a predominantly Muslim area, and people were very friendly and helpful, plus costs were much less than Central London. There are many local internet cafes, a launderette, and a couple of pubs within walking distance as well as local Arabic and African cuisine.
