Very nice place to stay. Near the underground station which allows you to reach central London in about 15 minutes. The staff are very gentle and provide lots of useful pieces of information. Rooms are clean and silent. Near the tube station there is even a direct connection to Stansted Airport. I'm really satisfied about it. I will surely return there.

Great hotel! Clean and the people are very friendly.

I've stayed at Lodge 51 for one night on a business trip at the Canary Wharf. It was amazing, the room was spacious, very clean and furnished to a high standard. The hotel itself is not too far from Stratford tube station, it is close to the Stratford Centre which is a big shopping mall and it is very convenient for travelling to the Canary Wharf. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Although, the TV didn't work but it was a pleasant stay overall and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys comfortable rooms for great price.
Frank Bierbrauer, Australian (28 April 08) 7/10
Not bad, very clean and comfortable. Nice staff. However, unless you ask they don’t change sheets or remove used towels. Not the most organised reception

Lodge 51 London was amazing! So clean and newly renovated, i think? Everything was great about it, it had a kitchen where you can do some cooking and we had a private bathroom which was so clean and nice. The only downside was the location, I found it a little far from Central London. But for the price, it was more than i could ask for!

Cute little B & B. Great value for money :-)
Brett Peters, British (03 February 08) 8/10
I was pleasantly surprised. It was a clean, well maintained budget hotel. Well situated as a base to explore London (20 mins by tube to central London).
Donald, Maltese (01 February 08) 9/10
Has been recently refurbished and the staff are helpful and friendly.
Internet access is available for free if you have your own laptop.
Cooking facilities are also available.

Overall a very good experience!

I thought it was amazingly clean and beautiful set up. I was so impressed by our room and the facilities being so modern. If I ever return to London I will definitely be staying with you guys again! Thanks so much!!!
R Birch, British (31 January 08) 9/10
The cleanest and most pleasantly decorated budget hotel I have stayed in. The staff are helpful and polite, the place is quiet, well equipped and my room which was ensuite benefited from a tv with sky. Not the most central place to stay in London but I would recommend it.
Amy , American (31 January 08) 9/10
Has very very nice rooms! They were very clean and comfortable and the tvs were terrific!
Susi, German (31 January 08) 8/10
We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were small but clean and tidy as were shared bathrooms and the rest of the hotel. The owners are really helpful and friendly too. If you are looking for a nice and quiet hotel and don't mind that it is a bit further out of the city then this is the place to go! The kitchen is very clean but there are only plates etc. provided but no pots or pans and no utensils (but you can get cheap ones around the corner). Remember there is free tea and coffee, free good internet (wireless). Overall a really good budget hotel.
Aravind Sundararajan, Indian (31 January 08) 9/10
The lodge is a great place to stay! Spacious and clean rooms, the bathroom are very clean. The polite and helpful staff made my stay enjoyable. It is also located close to the central line tube station and shopping complex. Would certainly recommend it.
Christian Loste, Spanish (10 December 07) 7/10
Very nice and comfortable accommodation. Quiet and has all you need and in a good location.
Kevin, Australian (06 December 07) 10/10
I stayed there last week, it definitely exceeded my expectations. I got a clean and quiet room. What more can I expect from a budget hotel? I’ll be booking another stay here.
