It is what it is. Very basic accommodation, good location, good price. It was perfect for me after a late night returning flight to Stansted. Checked in at 2am, guy there was cool about it

The highlights: friendly staff, great location, a nice balcony. The drawbacks: slightly dilapidated hallways, noise outside in the early AM, and a tiny ensuite bathroom

Room was okay. The TV set was not working. During booking, I noticed that it was clearly mentioned that 24 hrs Reception. Since I had to check out early morning, I got a surprise while leaving the hotel around 7am as nobody was there in the reception to handover the key and after 10 mins of waiting, I had leave the key behind in my room. The Receptionist also never mentioned to me that Reception is not 24hrs

I was pleasantly surprised with the standard of accommodation, better that I expected it would be. We stayed in a twin ensuite rooom, the accommodation (including the bed linen) was clean and of a sufficent standard. The hallway carpet does need a bit of a clean although there appears to be some decorating of the hallway going on at present. The common kitchen areas can get a bit messy, this I suppose is due to the guests not cleaning up after themselves. Norfolk Square itself is an ideal location as a base for central London, if a bit noisy at night. Overall a favourable budget accommodation experience was had here and I would definitely stay there again.

Basic accommodation but in a great central location, for a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. Although the room was small, and it was bunk beds, it is ideal for anyone wanting cheap accomodation very close to the city centre. Would definitely recommend this to anyone staying on a budget in London.

Good value, excellent location. Could be cleaner but you get what you pay for.

It is a very nice and cheap hotel within a good location in London. The staff were very helpful. If I come to London again I will stay in this hotel.

Good points: Very cheap room, comfy bed,hot water, fantastic location 3 mins away from tube nice area plenty of shops pubs KFC, McDonmalds, Burger King ,Subway and restaurants. Walking distance to Oxford Street Hyde Park etc. Bad points.. shower was tiny you would not fit a larger person in one, endless stairs if on top floors, not a very clean looking place, the kitchen was always in a filthy mess I aint posh but I would not have fed my dog in it. Reception always closed so a maze of going through tiny doors and more stairs to get from one side of the building to the other. Eating room locked 2 days of our stay so no hot drink vending machine. No kettle in room, TV located on top bunk with only one channel. If you want cheap not to cheerfull and somewhere just to sleep its an ideal place to stay. Though room was not very big and if your a big shopper like we were you will be constantly falling over bags! All in all I would stay again it wasn't to bad
