Good clean hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast

A very nice hotel, very good value, with attractive Art Deco, a lively bar, and a clean room. Only fault was the snack bar which accessed the street, which refused to accept Scottish money.

Good checking in although some slight confusion over payment. Freindly staff and good breakfast. Not sure why were the radiators were on in small rooms when it was warm outside. This made the sleeping experience very uncomfortable and I had to sleep with the window open which was quite noisy.

The hotel is very clean and the staff were quite friendly. The room was a good size and the shower was excellent. The only downside was that only one lift was working in the front lobby.

My one night could not have been better. The hotel is of an age but the room was comfortable and suitably furnished and clean. Everything worked. The staff were all pleasant courteous and helpful. I shall book again.

A pleasant hotel to stay at. Friendly staff. Centrally located and food was good. I would use this hotel again.
