There is a freephone number by the telephone opposite the launderette. Taxis are safe and when you share a taxi it is a reasonably economical way of travelling to the city in the evenings. However, you should never enter a private hire vehicle unless it is pre-booked.

By Bus |
: |
Bus Numbers 41 and 42 buses run from Parry’s Lane to Whiteladies Road, The Triangle, The University, Park Row and the Bus Station. This service runs approximately every 15 minutes during the day and at 30-minute intervals during the evening. The Student Link bus service is available from the Stoke Bishop site to the Students Union and Centre in the evening, and the Students’ Union run a minibus service for women to get back to Hall during the evening.

University Hall is approximately 2 miles from main University buildings. Many walk up Hollybush Lane, across the Downs and then on into the City – this takes from 30-40 minutes.
