Lovely building, very central location and easy to find in Notting Hill. Lots of great restaurants less than 15 mins walk away. Room was warm, bed was comfortable. Only note I would give is that there is no lift for luggage so try to pack light! Would happily book Notting Hill Gate Hotel there again

The street this hotel is on is so beautiful, I wish I could live there. The hotel, for the price, is quiet and clean and the staff were pleasant. It’s not the most sophisticated place, because the rooms have all the amenities you need but it’s all a bit jumbled (and some are small) but overall I really enjoyed my stay. The location is great, really near to some great parts of London. I was there for work but I will definitely be back again to stay as a tourist. Thumbs up

Not top of the range London accommodation but it's lovely clean, cosy hotel in an excellent location. Easy access to Portobello Market, Kensington and into the West End. Fabulous choice of shops, bars and restaurants close by too. Pleasant and polite staff at this hotel. Worth staying here if affordability is important too. Matches up to it's 3 star rating

Notting Hill Gate Hotel is simple, clean, not expensive and well placed 3 stars-like hotel, close to many interesting places to be visited. Portobello and Hyde Park are contrasting examples of these fantastic places to spend your time with. His staff is well trained, kind and prepared to give good guide instructions about London services and tourist information

We went for business travel. The breakfast room is too small and crowded in the morning. The bedroom is very small. People are very nice with customers. Notting Hill Gate is very clean and rooms are very clean. They are lacking some space. They need also a lobby room for luggage. No lift and obliged to carry very heavy luggage from downstairs to the reception, no help for this. For pleasure it's ok for business trip

Enjoyed our stay at Notting Hill Gate Hotel. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Even though it was a continental breakfast there was plenty of it. The two girls worked very hard replenishing the items. They cleared away very quickly and kept the whole area looking nice. The eating area was a bit on the small side. Stairs where a bit of a problem. But did not spoil our stay

The location of Notting Hill Gate is very close to the underground making it safe for solo travellers like myself. I asked for a lower floor room as I have arthritis and this they did. The room is very small but clean and comfortable. I am quite small so the tiny bathroom wasn't a problem but I could see it being difficult for a tall person to manoeuvre. Breakfast was adequate but the room was so tiny we had to queue for a seat. Overall it was good value for money but they do need to address the breakfast room situation
