Museum Inn is one of the original Astor Hostels. It's been a favourite with
travellers and guidebooks alike for over 20 years, with about 75 happy
backpackers sleeping each night. Museum Inn is situated directly opposite the
British Museum and is just a short walk away from Covent Garden, Oxford Street,
Soho and the West End theatre district.

Museum Inn has friendly dormitory rooms, that range in size from three to twelve
beds, with a couple of twin rooms also available. The toilets and showers -
which are cleaned every day - are outside the rooms on every floor. There are
cooking facilities and a continental breakfast is available each morning at
Museum Inn. |

by the Russell Square Station, the hostel is centrally located and is near the
London University centres. Also within walking distance are the central shopping

| The hostel is located in an excellent location, was clean tidy, staff freindly and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast included was great for the low cost paid. |

| Unlike a very pleasant and quiet first stay, this trip was plagued with noisy travellers not keeping their loud attempts at seduction to the common room (and having to be told so at 2:00 am), fire alarms going off at 3:00 am (the following night) and a rude staff member barging her way into our double room at 4:00 am, without knocking, grunting it was to check the alarms. No apologies at all, just that it is 'company policy'. They need either new staff or new policies. Very disappointing. |

| Excellant - cheap, more importantly it was clean and with friendly staff, what else could you want when travelling on the cheap!! The central location and easy access to all the things you will want to see in London. I will definetly stay at Museum Inn when I am in London again! |

| We loved our stay at the Museum Inn, everything is so close and everybody at the hostel is very friendly. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner of Crepes and Cider!! We will come definitely again. |

| This hostel had everything I could ask for, a fantastic location, great staff, excellent beds, hot water and they have these great dinners every week which makes you feel like you are at home and that creates a great atmosphere for meeting people. - Would recommend this hostel to all! |

| What a great find! The Museum Inn is in one of the best locations in London, we walked everywhere. The Manager was very helpful and we enjoyed a brilliant Mexican theme dinner in the dining room. Good sturdy beds with lockers underneath. I will go back to the Museum Inn when I return next year. |
