Very small hot room. Toilet did not work. Room not ready even at 2pm reception under construction. Not impressed.

I was really impressed with the Melville. Not withstanding it is being renovated it was of a really good quality. I stay in London regularly for business and this is my best find yet. Room is small but very comfortable and as a lone female the hotel felt safe with very friendly staff. Very good value for money.

The hotel staff was amazing, the rooms were recently done up and were VERY comfortable. Wi-fi didn't work as well but there are plenty of other hotels on the street (same company) that wi fi connected to... just choose another connection. Very central with everything in and around you. really good breakfast

Room was small but very clean and bathroom was also immaculate. All amenities described were available and staff were very nice and helpful. Only downside was you had to go over the road to another hotel for breakfast, which would've been fine if we were early risers. A clean and comfy hotel in a perfect location. Would definitely go back

We stayed in a triple room and the beds are very confortable. There is a fridge and TV in the room too. The hotel is very well located, because you have the underground and the train very close. The price is very good and the breakfast is fantastic. The only inconvenience is that we had to share the bathroom and the shower, and the shower is not good at all. But in general, I like the hostel and even people are very nice. You can also leave the baggage in the hotel for free, and there is reception 24 hours. I fully recommend it! :)

Cheap but smelly, dusty, old and in need of major renovation. Staff not very helpful.  Would not recommend, spend a bit extra for somewhere more comfortable.

The staff was both friendly & helpful. The rooms were small but clean (same applies to shower and toilet), decent breakfast and conveniently located closed to King's Cross

Room was clean, toilet was clean. Stay was good for the price.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it's noisy, dirty and as basic as possible: tv with no aerial and an ancient fridge. Overall the price was cheap so you pay for what you get I suppose. I'll never stay there again!

The amount suited the type of accomodation. We paid £21.50/night, for 2 nights in a triple room. It is a secure venue, close to the station, the reception is guarded all night, there are toilets on each level. We didn't have breakfast so we cant speak for that but overall we are pleased. Also, we were surprised to find our room cleaned! When we got back from being out all day. Our room tidied and cleaned, put us in a good mood, Cheers.
