I had had the absolute day from hell and just needed somewhere to stay when I found TravelStay and Lodge 51. It was surprisingly easy to get to – I looked at the map and thought it would take forever but London’s so well connected these days it was only half and an hour from where I was before in West London. So, right, I booked in and got over there and thought that maybe the area it was in was a little run-down even though it was near the Stratford area which has been redeveloped. Still, it wasn’t so bad. My impressions of Lodge 51 were great. Staff were lovely and smiling, and my room was just what you expect for a cheap BnB. Clean, fresh bedding, warm bed, basic décor, a little dated but everything clean and fine, and I tell you I slept like a baby. Really helped me out of a tight spot. The next day I walked to Stratford and it wasn’t so far. I would recommend Lodge 51 without a second thought

After dropping my daughter and friend at Lodge 51 London I was given a tour, the room was clean and tidy and we'll maintained. I would recommend it

Cheap room at Lodge 51 London for 2 nights can't complain at the price, was glad to see the bedding was clean and fresh as that what matters most. Only negative thing is the place can do with a bit of tlc, sockets hanging off walls etc and also thick with dust around the skirting in the room and especially the bathroom just lots of little things to tidy it up a bit and make it look more presentable

I had a wonderful time at Lodge 51 London! Rooms are nice and very clean. It's very close to the tube and train station in Stratford and the biggest shopping mall in Europe, Westfield!

The room was fine staff friendly, bed comfortable and clean. Would stay again if I was staying in the area again for the night. Would recommend Lodge 51 London if you are looking for a bed for the night, I'm one for you get what you pay for, no complaints from me
