Very good place to stay if you are looking for just a basic room. There is no tv, sink in room, clean sheets with a towel and shower gel sachet. You have to share the kitchen, toilet, and shower, all of these are separate rooms, on the same floor. Good secure place, friendly staff, breakfast was amazing as you integrate with residents here, also lots of fresh fruit, porridge, meats if you like them. I would definitely stay here again

Spent almost two weeks at Holborn Hall. Worth the money. Cleaning the bathroom could have been much better. Noted deficiencies were not corrected. The kitchen lacked cutlery, pots and glasses. Coffee would be, but was not filled at. Felt that much of the building was torn. Cleaning the bathroom could have been much better. Noted deficiencies are not corrected. Very good London accomodation, kitchen bathroom and shower room spotless, the continental breakfast was more than sufficient. The only negative was how hot the rooms were and no ventilation. Take a small fan

The rating is based on what you would expect from student accommodation at a budget price. Having said that, I slept well and as the room faced out to the back, was undisturbed. The shower room was a bit basic, but could definitely do with a coathook and a small shelf to put your washbag on

My stay at High Holborn Hall was absolutely fine. The room was much bigger than I expected, and it looked like a proper student room, including all essentials such as a desk, a cupboard and even a washbin, which was nice. I could only find one bathroom near my room, which was not much of a problem in the end because I never saw anyone else near it. Breakfast was amazing; I did not expect there to be so many options (much more compared to a hostel). The only thing that bother me was the huge amount of cutlery, plates and cups that were thrown away after using them for 15 minutes. I certainly appreciate it that they are recyclable, but still I think it is maddness to throw away so many utensils every day. And who knows whether they will really compost if you just throw them in a trashbin? I think although the intentions are good, this is not really environmentally friendly and it would be much better to reuse cutlery, plates and cups. I kept my cutlery in my room to use it again the next day, but that was all I could think of to do about it. Also, it would be nice to have one or two computers in the accomodation where one could access the internet

I was in the perfect location for all the places I wanted to go to in London, most within walking distance, Covent Garden, theatres etc. A nice surprise was finding The Shaftesbury Theatre with Rock of Ages across the road! Accommodation was as expected, comfortable, no frills. Breakfast was adequate. The only thing I could find fault with was the lack of air conditioning. Also, two towels, not just one, would have been helpful. Apart from that I really enjoyed my stay at High Holborn Hall, all the staff were very friendly and helpful

I had the pleasure of staying at High Holborn Hall during FrightFest. The accomodation was basic but functional. I was comfortable and the facilities were kept clean and the staff were friendly

High Holborn Hall is inexpensive, but was more than adequate for my stay. The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast options are lovely. Bear in mind that you may have to share shower and kitchen facilities with strangers, but if you're not spending a lot of time in the room, this is perfect London accommodation

Booked 3 single rooms for 7 nights; bed in 1 room worn out, saggy, uncomfortable, needed replacement; No mop to clean up dirty kitchen floor; Gobs of hair on bathroom floor and carpeted hallway upon arrival which I cleaned up after 2 days. Staff friendly, helpful and breakfast good. Security was good. Extra pleasant until new neighbors arrived. Men aggravated me because did not put community toilet seat down, urinated in community shower and played loud music. Would stay again, however, because of excellent central location and good value
