Since we've visited London quite a few times we've seen some hotels in this price range and are standard. We know it's not always clean and many times it's like You're part of a competition of getting the smallest bathroom. Compared to other hotels rooms we found this one had some more problems than usual: the toilet didn't flush when we arrived, but was fixed during the second day of our stay. Our radiator was on full effect when we come to our room the first night, because the guests next dorr thought it was cold in thier romm, and therefore turned the heat up in the corridor. So we needed the window to be open during the nights, even though the staff turned the heating off when we told them about our problem. The 24hr reception was sometimes closed. In addition the doorbell didn't work and we lived in the annex next door so we hadn't a key to the front door. All the staff were kind and helpful, we found our room decently clean, there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The bathroom was bigger than expected. We really liked the location, and there's a lot of bus lines and tube stations nearby, there is a fridge in the room, and the breakfast included eggs and beans, which is more than just cornflakes, milk, juice, coffee, butter, marmalade and toast. All in all it's OK, but don't expect everything to work as you wish!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was clean, the price and performance was good.

The rooms were clean and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (5 stars for them). Most rooms seemed to have more modern windows (although not double glazed) and the bathroom sink had a mixer tap - another big plus. The shower door derails easily. Nevertheless, nice area, good pub (O'Neills) about 100 yards away and two tube stations conveniently nearby (Shepherd's Bush Market, and Shepherd Bush). Given the overall poor quality of accommodation in London this wasn't too bad and something I'd recommend.

Great value for money. I was there for work, and it was an easy 5/10 minute walk to Shepherds Bush tube on the central line. The room was good, small, neat with fridge, TV, storage and double bed. It was mostly quiet (except for a school staying but that can't be helped) and housekeeping did a good job every day so I had a fresh room to come back to. Nice hot showers, and very good breakfast of scrambled eggs and beans. Staff were friendly if brief. Again, great value for money.

En general una buena relación. Dos quejas menores: bombilla de luz la habitación de un pedacito sórdido de la lectura, también el radiador no dio calor para habitación era bastante fría.

Our room was in the basement - the corridors were cluttered with boxes and old mattresses so we were worried what our room would be like. It was surprisingly ok. It was basic but very clean. The bed cover had a big hole in it but the sheets were very clean. The continental breakfast was good and included eggs and beans which was a nice added touch. Ideally situated for the Hammersmith Apollo -10 minutes walk away. I would stay here again

The hotel was nice. Nice room with clean bathroom. Breakfast was great. We only slept there. We will stay at this hotel again. Ideally situated close to the central line

Great location. However I always thought curtains were standard issue in most accommodation

A great stay for the price. Friendly helpful staff, spotless rooms and very good access to tubes, buses and several local bars. Only problem was the toilet/shower room was very small and I was unable to shut toilet door whilst using it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone going to a gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire.
