The hosts were very kind and helpful. The house looks a little bit scary from the outside. The inside was OK, but very simple.

Suitable for budget travellers - adequate for the price. Room and the whole apartment rather shabby (dirty walls and carpets) - do not recommend if you're looking for a place to spend romantic evenings with your partner in! If all you need is a place to sleep over, Tennyson House is fine though

The house is extremely dirty, damp and smelt strongly of black mould. There was a rodent problem as there were traps in the bathroom.

This place was a joke, rodent bait in the bathroom, everywhere looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months, mouldy walls, ceilings, filthy bathrooms and carpets. The kitchen and garden were just as bad. It was disgusting and we will never stay here again.

Room very basic but clean. Bathroom and kitchen need attention and both need a general deep clean. Staff - pleasant and polite. Handy for A budget stay in London - would stay again IF the facilities were clean and brought up to standard.

Literally 5 minutes away from Walthamstow Queens Road (Overground) and another two minutes from local corner shop. The owner was very helpful, but the house is very basic and needs a proper clean, new beds and bed sheets. Other than that, the toilet was in fairly decent condition.

Effectively the same as a student house, it is not a nice place to stay in but clean and cheap enough for budget travel. Really Tennyson House is just a place to sleep in. There is a kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals as none are included. 15 minute walk away from a tube station. I have given a rating of three as it served the purpose for us - a place to crash after a gig at Finsbury Park

Tennyson House was reasonable for the low price paid. The rooms were clean with clean sheets. If you are looking for somewhere to use the shared facilities such as the kitchen and bathroom I would not recommend. These areas seemed a work in progress, the hob had just one working stove. The bathroom was okay, apart from the toilet seat which had a hole in it. If you are just looking for a bed for the night this place will do

Tennyson House is a great place to stay if you're in need of a cheap room for 1 or 2 nights. Friendly landlord and spacious rooms, kitchen and bathroom as well! Really happy, thanks
