The Cromwell Crown hotel is worth a visit.  It may be a bit noisy if you have a room near the front of the hotel but I would go there again as the staff were friendly and it was clean.

Everybody from TravelStay and hotel staff were very helpful. The hotel room was nice. There was some construction repairing going on in the corridor but I did not hear noises.

Nice rooms. Noisy due to other guests but not from the traffic. Breakfast very poor. Staff friendly

The Cromwell Crown was in the middle of construction during our stay, what a difference between the newly renovated rooms and the older rooms and lobby! The old rooms were quite shocking compared to the newer ones which were lovely and comparable to what one might find in a nice chain hotel. Our stay was fine except for one thing, a significant issue of security. The concierge said that the front desk would need to keep our key any time we were away from our room. Security on behalf of the guests should be much better than this until there are enough 'disposable' keys for guests to take with them when they leave the hotel each day

Iam really happy about the service provided by the receptionist at Cromwell Hotel London and the room was really clean and tidy

I really enjoyed staying at the Cromwell Crown Hotel. Thankfully, we were able to change rooms due to the construction noise. The first room was very much like a student room, but gladly we moved to a really nice furnished room in the end. It was still quite small, but in fairness, it did the job as we were on a budget. The receptionist was very helpful. I cannot complain regards what we received for our price as it was on the door step of Central London

We found the price excellent so did not expect the highest class of hotel but you could see from the outset that the hotel was in a process of refurbishment. When we got to our room, we found the room to be very clean and well refurbished. The hotel promised internet access but found that we could not get any and none of the staff did not know how to fix it. The location was excellent for going into central london but the staff did not seem to be very knowledgeable about the area. All in all the stay was very good and you had to make compsensations for the fact the the hotel was in the process of refurbishment. We would go back once it has been finished but I doubt it will be the same price

The Cromwell Crown Hotel London was a short walk from Gloucester Rd tube station so handy as a base for getting around London. Refurbishment is currently underway so noisy during the day. Evening and overnight no problem though. My Son and I were I expect in one of the yet to be refurbished rooms on the ground floor. Very basic room with cracked frosted style windows and so no view. No reception on TV. With that said though, the room was well heated and clean. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom as well. Booking in and out was very easy and reception person pleasant. Would I stay again? Yes if the prices stay the same

Our overnight stay went off without any problems, the entrance hall appears a bit run down but the room was clean, neat and completely satisfactory. Staff were friendly, booking arrangement all in order.

The hotel had some good and bad points. It was very close to a tube station meaning getting around London was very easy. There were also some shops and cafes nearby. The room was a comfortable size also. On a bad note, the rooms were not very clean, in particular the bathroom where there was mould growing on the ceiling and had dripped down the walls. The bath and toilet were filthy and smelt.
