The shower head was dirty and had tape around the pipe. The handle on the shower door was broken. The plug in the sink was broken. I had to remove it to drain the water away. No tea making in the room. I had to use the kitchen (which was restricted). It would be better if the kitchen was open at all times. Apart from these issues I thought the room at City Stay Hotel London was very clean and the staff very pleasant

A reasonable hotel with hit-and-miss facilities and outdated décor, but comfortable and with really great staff. A good option for the price and on top of the tube station. Free wifi was good

Rooms, public areas and breakfast room were very clean! Rooms was a bit tiny but bathroom quite comfortable. The location was great, very close to 2 tube stations (2nd zone)! There are also 2 great pubs a minute away for a quick beer or eat something before going to bed. City Stay Hotel London is a good budget option for staying in London
