I booked a double ensuite room for my mum and dad. The staff at the hostel seemed very disorganised. When they eventually got a double room it was basic but ok. On the plus side breakfast was v good.

I wasn't expecting more than a basic hotel where I could lay my head at night when I booked at Central House however, I would not choose to lay my head here again. The hotel was noisy, the door on the room had a four inch gap at the bottom, the bathroom was no more than a cupboard and I was forced to have cold showers on 2 out of 3 occasions as the hot water had run out! Staff were friendly but didn't go out of their way to help and the breakfast was adequate but could have been much better. I won't be staying here again or recommending the hotel.
