Excellent stay, would definitely recommend this London hotel to others, good value for money. Room was a nice size, clean, expected facilities were available. Only comment about the room, is it got too hot at night. Maybe a fan needs to be provided. Breakfast was ok, maybe add croissants to the menu in the future. Breakfast was cleared away too quickly and some of the breakfast staff were rude. Other staff all lovely polite and helpful. Avni Kensington Hotel is very close to the tube, which gets you everywhere
Stay was very enjoyable. Staff at Avni Kensington were excellent. Had to wait a little for my room to be prepared. Nice location. Very quiet.
We stayed at the Avni Kesington for 2 nights. It was well situated for us going to the Albert Hall and into London. The hotel was clean and staff were polite. The breakfast was continental but better than expected. The room was average size but the en suite was a little small. We felt we had a good value for the price we paid
I picked the Avni Kensington Hotel on the basis of price and location. I was expecting more of a hotel than a hostel, and was surprised to find an extremely small room - probably the smallest I've ever had in a hotel. However, the price was very competitive for London, and the location excellent. The room was clean and quiet, linen was changed scrupulously, and the front desk staff were polite even if they could have smiled a bit more. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, though the lack of logic in the lay-out of such a small serving area meant it was a bit chaotic. However, once one had adjusted to the hostel feel it was perfectly good. Despite these various small criticisms (intended to be positive) I would almost certainly aim for the Avni on any future visit to London
The Avni Kensington Hotel is very clean, cheap and has friendly staff. Even the continental breakfast was good enough to start the next day! Thumbs-up from us and we will be booking this Hotel again soon!
Nice location, friendly staff, decent breakfast, but tiny room, tiny elevator, no air-conditioning, tiny bathroom
The location of Avni Kensington Hotel is very good both near to Earls Court and Gloucester Road, quiet and safe. The internet wasn't so good. Sometimes it didn't work. That was unfortunate. The faucet of shower came off easily. A friend of mine got hurt while taking a shower. It dropped on her foot. We wish you should keep eye on the maintenance more
Our stay in the Avni Kensington Hotel was fine. The location is perfect (near stores, pub and tube), the room was clean and the service was good. Good value for money. One downside: tiny shower (but it worked ok)
The hotel is well situated for the tubes, restaurants nearby etc. The rooms are 'ok'; nothing special but the price was inexpensive. The TV in the room had limited TV stations, the shower 'dripped' water from the shower head ALL the time. Windows are very poor, not double glazed, curtains in our room didn't close and had come off the rail at the top, unable to reach to rectify this problem. Room a little 'worn' in places. Overall not too bad!
At the Avni Kensington Hotel, the reception and help from staff was wonderful. Our only issue was the draught through the window in our room which made sleeping very difficult as we were cold. But other than that we had a pleasant stay and would would book again when in London. Thank you
