Astor Victoria is situated in an excellent location for sightseeing, with all
major tourist attractions close by. This friendly hostel has long been a
favourite with both travellers and guidebooks alike. Astor Victoria sleeps about
sixty 18-35 year-old backpackers each night and has a great relaxed atmosphere.

suitable for all visitors looking for an inexpensive stay in Victoria,

Astor Victoria's friendly, shared rooms range in size, with between five and
eight beds in each. The toilets and showers, which are cleaned thoroughly every
day, are outside the rooms on each floor. With a great location in the heart of
London, Astor Victoria is perfect for backpackers, students and those visiting
London to work or see the sights. Continental breakfast is served each morning
and cooking facilities are available in the hostel’s new kitchens, which feature
huge wide screen TVs. |

Astor Victoria is just a short walk away from Pimlico Station, which is on the
Victoria Line of the London Underground. Victoria Station is also within walking
distance but is further away.

On Foot |

From Pimlico Station: Take the Bessborough South exit and turn right at the
traffic lights. This road is St Georges Square, which becomes Belgrave Road.
Astor Victoria is on the right-hand side of this road. If you are walking from
Victoria Station, exit the station and turn left onto Buckingham Palace Road.
Keep walking until you reach Eccleston Bridge, where you turn left. Eccleston
Bridge becomes Belgrave Road and Astor Victoria is about four blocks down on the
left-hand side.

| I stayed in the hostel for just one night and tried to spend as much time outside as I could. The first thing to greet one upon crossing the threshold was the smell of urine, which persisted throughout the entire building, joined with the strong smell of alcohol here and there. The hostel felt unclean, and I hope I won't be forced to stay there again. |

| Brilliant service, great breakfast and a pretty good entertainment section. Only bad thing for me being 6ft 3 was the size of the bunk bed, but Astor Victoria exceeded my expectations of a hostel. Thank you very much. |

| My friend and I had a GREAT time at Astor Victoria hostel - the location was great and the room was good too... We stayed with 6 others and it was fun to meet other people this way! The only bad thing to say is that one of us had to take a cold shower!.. brrrr... Thanks for a great experience! |

| It is a very clean and nice place, very friendly and safe, location is great, really close to the tube and the neighbourhood is excellent, i recomend it, the only thing i missed there, was an elevator :o/ |
