Clean Hotel, good location - only 15 minutes from Victoria Station (by metro) 2,5 h walking. All staff very nice apart of one lady on reception, who ignored everybody. Triple room on last floor is a bit noisy room from the air condition outside

Did not have water for 1 day due to mains waterworks outside hotel. However we were not told about this by the hotel staff, or were there any notices around the hotel saying there was not going to be any water. Not given any discount or any extras because of this problem, seemed like staff did not care

My friend and I found the hotel which looked okay from the outside, and then went to the reception to check in to be met by the rudest receptionist who had no manners whatsoever. The room was clean, but very basic, and the shower dribbled and the hair-dryer didn't work. The 'continental' breakfast was just rubbish. All in all, the whole experience of the 'Royal' Hyde Park Hotel was just awful, and needless to say, my friend and I would never stay there again, and I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone

Stayed here for the carnival, perfect location for this, nice and central and added bonus 24hr reception. Room was very comfortable and pleasant, bathroom was very small but perfect for a night or two

This London hotel is ok. Cheap and cheerful. Needs a lick of paint in some places, but clean. You get what you pay for, which was fine for us. Staff need to be a bit more hospitable, no-one smiles!
