I loved the whole experience. The people at the desk were wonderful, helpful, kind. The rooms were very clean and very well kept. The bed was a little sub-par but for the $$ it was a great value.

Strongly recommend the lodgings offered, excellent value for the price, very good reception, lovely campus, good restaurant and bars plus a shop, comfortable rooms and lifts in the buildings. And nearby a stop for every bus you need. However there is no television or radio in the rooms. One much appreciates being able to boil water for coffee or tea in the room.

I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and cleanliness of the room - tea/coffee making facilities, clean (fluffy) towels, complimentary toiletries and a cosy duvet. The food hall was impressive with hot, tasty treats (including of course, haggis) for breakfast offered alongside a range of fruit, cereals and other standard items. Superb value when looking for a single occupancy room!

Worst Accommodation I have ever stayed in. Damp, cramped, dated. Heating broken (or possibly just turned off over summer months) and so we had no place to get warm or dry out our clothes and shoes from torrential rain in Edinburgh. So noisy all night, from doors and could hear every conversation/snore in the rooms surrounding us. Bathroom over flooded every time we showered. Was so bad we left a day early to come home as the room was more depressing than the weather outside. Worst £255 I have ever spent.

Good basic accommodation. Hearty breakfast, although the dining rooms was a bit manic. Convenient for access to the centre. Would book Edinbugh First again.
