The best thing about the hotel was that it had free wi-fi, was close to the station and the room and bathroom was clean and had a good mini fridge and microwave facilities. Service from the staff was somewhat average. They were helpful and friendly. The worse of the accommodation was that the bathroom was cold most of the time and they had kitchen facilities but please do not use the oven it is so outdated and needs to be replaced with a new oven. I tried to cook pizza unsuccessfully. Also the area is very dodgy. Be careful when you go out at night. Opposite the hotel is a convenience store and chemist. The pub inside the hotel had awful food - luckily the staff had take away that we could order. Overall, for the price you pay the rooms were clean and you are close to the train station, but beware of the dodgy area and cold bathroom

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food good. Room lacked anywhere to hang clothes. Furniture (desk) very poor condition. Condition of decoration in room - needs re-decorating. Power cable visible behind wall socket with damaged plaster. Bed linen clean. Bathrooms very good, but no mat on floor or shampoo

My single room without facilities could best be described as cramped but adequate and noisy as it was in the front overlooking the street. Breakfast was standard but the late cut-off was nice as was the free Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly. There's little in the way of entertainment or dining in the area.

Room very small with noisy people upstairs and fairly noisy road, but good value for money and good breakfast.
