Our stay at the Victorian House Hotel was very pleasant. Although the grandeur of the original establishment has worn off, the room was spacious and everything was clean, so we could not complain about anything. We enjoyed a good Scottish breakfast, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very good value for money!

Victorian House Hotel offers very good value for money, with an excellent breakfast. Most helpful staff, especially when I had booked incorrectly and they sorted it out.

Rooms relatively clean. Comforters not very clean. Shower area needs refurbishing. Four flights of stairs to go up with heavy luggage to get to room (no lift). Rooms good size, friendly staff, well organized, price includes hot Scottish breakfast: very good. Price excellent. Location excellent: close to restaurants and all attractions. Not suitable for elderly people or people with heavy luggage. Would not stay again due to stairs
