The 25 clean and compact guestrooms at Excelsior Hotel have flat screen TVs and a range of amenities. In a selection of rooms you will find tea and coffee making facilities, a radio, hairdryer, desk, safety deposit box, trouser press, ironing facilities, and iPod docking station.

All bookings with children must be detailed in 'special requests' at the time of booking.
Extra rollaway beds are not available.

Other Services: Each room has linen and towels already provided for your use. These are changed every third day of stay.
Should you require new towels and new linen before this time there is small fee of £1.00 per towel and £5.00 for a full linen change.

Latest News: Excelsior Hotel have recently had a large renovation of the entire building and rooms . They have upgraded the rooms and facilities but also kept many of the original features which were present before.

Comments: Excelsior Hotel offers luggage storage.
You can leave your luggage with reception prior to your arrival for free.
On departure the Excelsior Hotel can also hold your bags for you for a small fee of £1.00 per bag per day.

By Train: Kings Cross St Pancras is the nearest underground station to Excelsior Hotel, served by the Northern, Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City, Circle, Metropolitan and Victoria lines.

On Foot: Excelsior Hotel is only a 3-minute walk from Kings Cross St Pancras Underground Station (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria lines). Leave the station onto Euston Road, turn right and cross over. Walk down Belgrove Street on your left, which becomes Argyle Square, and you will find Excelsior Hotel at number 42.

I was a little surprised when shown to my room by the guy at the check-in desk at Excelsior Hotel, that he took a look in the room first before opening the door fully. Maybe I'm looking at this a little simplistically, but I didn't expect that there should have been a need to check the room was empty prior to my taking occupancy. The room was warm, but so was the weather during that weekend. However, I did notice a draft on my head all night from the window, which did not shut quite tight. One of the power sockets in the room needed proper fixing to the wall and the kettle wouldn't boil without holding the switch down throughout. Plus points, the shower worked and was warm. The room was quiet, being on the top floor and there being not too many other residents. The loos were stocked with loo roll

All that was wanted was a bed for the night. Room was small but also had an en-suite shower and toilet. It was serviceable and clean. Coffee and tea facilities. Excelsior Hotel is just around the corner from St Pancras International which was just what we wanted. Excellent value for the price and only the small size of the room wrong with it

Room on the small side but if you're just using it to rest your head at night is perfectly adequate. Friendly staff and can't ask for better location near Kings Cross Station. Would book Excelsior Hotel again
