With its fountain-bedecked entrance, columned exterior wall, and impressive façade, you could easily mistake Clapham South Belvedere Hotel (formerly known as Euro Lodge Clapham) for being a really expensive and lavish hotel. Fortunately for you it's not; it offers very reasonably priced Single, Double, Twin, Triple, and Quad rooms overlooking the lush greenery of Clapham Common. Each room has the luxury of an ensuite bathroom and a range of facilities including a hairdryer, television and tea and coffee making facilities for you.
Clapham South Belvedere Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Central London, just a short distance from Clapham South Tube Station. This makes this money-saving 2-Star London hotel ideal for an exciting trip to this great city. All you need to do is hop on the tube and you’ll have fast access to London’s famous tourist attractions, including Oxford Street and Leicester Square. Closer to the hotel there are plenty of bars and restaurants for you to try out in the evenings.
You will find plenty to do in Clapham itself, without even venturing on a tube. Just across the road from Clapham South Belvedere Hotel is Clapham Common, home to numerous music events during the summer and a popular place for kites, rollerblading, and relaxing on the green. If you love cricket the famous Oval cricket grounds are just a few stops away via bus or tube where you could catch the local team Surrey play or watch the Test match if you are coming to London in late August or early September.

Brilliant service at Clapham South Belvedere Hotel
Great location, overlooking an open green space in a fashionable part of London with a great atmosphere. The Bus stop is just outside, and Clapham South Tube station is extremely close. Local to the area also, are Art and Antique galleries, boutiques, restaurants and bars, and Tesco supermarket. The en-suite rooms are pleasing for their modernity, beds are extremely comfortable, and the shower/toilet rooms are clean, and smell clean. Good shower power with hot water available at all hours. An improvement on this would be to maintain the cleaning standards (throughly sweep and mop the floors, change beddings, and thoroughly wash cups and tea spoons) throughout the stay of a guest staying for more than 3 nights. Also, the box-sized room where I stayed in my first week makes sense for a night or two. More suitably I stayed in a slightly bigger room on my second visit. Staff are courteous, and professional. My hands broke out in a rash in my first week there. I am not prone to rashes normally, and traced the cause to the handwash soap, I took my own soap and shower gel on my second visit, and the rash has now cleared. Overall, I was please with my stay, and would rate this hotel as excellent, but have to knock off a few point for the areas that need improvement. I would book Clapham South Belvedere Hotel again, but remember to take my own soap and shower gel
Wonderful stay. Hotel is extremely clean and cosy. Good location and very friendly, nice and competitive people in the reception. Highly recommend Clapham South Belvedere Hotel
Clapham South Belvedere Hotel is the best of the best in Clapham south area, good staff, service and atmosphere as well
Being a budget hotel my expectations were set accordingly. I had requested an early check in and whilst the room was not ready on arrival it was only a matter of 15 minutes before it was. The rooms are clean fresh and although basic, fully met the requirements I had for a one night stay. It is on a busy road but a pleasant view over Clapham Common and a few minutes walk from the Northern line tube station which got me into the centre quite quickly. Overall, Clapham South Belvedere Hotel was quite good value for money considering this is London
