We had a good stay at Abercorn House. The place is spotlessly clean (very much appreciated). The bed was a bit too soft for us, but it's ok for one night
Abercorn House was a very convenient location. Near the underground station and is just one ride away from Heathrow
My daughter and I took a two bed room with private bathroom at Abercorn House. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel and kitchen and our room were very clean and the bedding was white and clean too. The beds were comfortable. Our bathroom had a slightly mouldy smell as we were on the ground floor but there was no visible mould. There is a small cafe in the hostel where we were able to have a good coffee and buy things to eat. The hostel is down a quiet dead end road just off Hammersmith station roundabout. There is some noise in the evening mainly because of all the doors and the tv room but after midnight it’s very quiet. I recommend this London hostel
I had a private single room at Abercorn House with bath. The room had two windows what I liked so it had much light. Also it had a big wardrobe with a mirror, a table and a chair, a fridge and cutlery for two people. Also there was a fully equipped kitchen for use opposite. The room and bath was clean and everything worked. Because the room was close to entrance it was noisy sometimes and the door slamming could be heard. Also the mattresses were a bit worn out. The hostel is perfectly located 5 min from Hammersmith Tube and Bus Station and Broadway Shopping Mall. It is a quiet side street and it's close to Kensington and to Heathrow Airport likewise. I will come again soon
The room is quite good at Abercorn House, I think there should be more chairs in the rooms, the public areas are good, but the doors are a bit uncomfortable. Wifi should be better, and free in common areas
