• By Train : The closest train station to The Grassmarket Hotel is Waverley train station. Once you arrive, follow the simple by foot directions below
• By Car : Get on the Edinburgh city bypass and exit at the Sherifhall roundabout. Follow the signs for the A7 towards Edinburgh City Centre. You will find yourself on Dalkieth Road. When you reach Pleasance turn left into Cowgate. At the roundabout go straight ahead and you will see The Grassmarket Hotel on your right.
• On Foot : Take the main exit from Waverly train station onto Waverley Bridge and turn to your left. At the end of the bridge cross the road and go straight ahead up Cockburn Street. At the end of this street cross over the road and walk down Hunters Square. This will lead you directly onto Blair Street and at the end of this street you need to turn right into Cowgate. Keep walking straight on and this will lead you onto Grassmarket. The Grassmarket Hotel is the on your right.
