Just when you thought staying in Exeter was way out of your price range, Hope Hall on the University of Exeter Streatham Campus comes to the rescue! Stay here when the students are on holiday and you’ll only be 10 minutes walk from Exeter city centre. The rooms you can book at Hope Hall are centrally heated single rooms (with shared bathroom or ensuite shower, toilet and wash basin) or twin ensuite rooms. All come with bed, desk, wardrobe, tea and coffee making equipment and free toiletries.

Breakfast is included in the price and served at Hope Hall Dining Room between 8 and 9am; at other times you can buy meals from Clydesdale House. Your temporary residents pass will give you free access to the swimming pool (July to September only) and outdoor tennis courts. You can even go to the gym or the sports hall, although these may incur a fee. Other handy facilities include a supermarket, launderette, cash machines, vending machines, payphones and (subject to availability) a TV lounge.

Attractions
Hope Hall is well situated to explore the city of Exeter. You can spend your days exploring Exeter Cathedral, St Nicholas Priory, or the historic Quayside. In the evenings you can sample the range of restaurants, bars, and clubs on offer or even buy tickets to go to the theatre. To explore further afield take day trips to Exmoor or Dartmoor National Parks, or any of the South Devon sandy beaches. Streatham Campus itself is situated on 350 acres of grounds for you to discover at your leisure.

There are rooms on the ground floor at Hope Hall, but if you have a specific disability request please contact us before booking so we can verify whether there is a room available to suit your needs.

Any late check in requests for Hope Hall need to be made at time of booking. Your towels and linen will be provided. The reception has irons and boards available on request. You can also request faxes and photocopying at reception.

Directions
By Train : Travel via train to Exeter St David’s Train Station. Either walk or catch taxi from here to Hope Hall if you have luggage with you.
By Car : Leave the M5 at junction 30 and get onto the A379 (3rd exit at the roundabout). The University of Exeter Streatham Campus is well signposted from here. Hope Hall is based on this campus.

Leave the A30 at the Dawlish and Marsh Barton exit. At the roundabout turn left onto Alphington Spur and keep going until you reach a large roundabout where you should take the 3rd exit onto Bonhay Road. Drive past Exeter St David’s Train Station and take a sharp right at the mini roundabout onto St David’s Hill. Go 2nd left onto Hele Road, left into New North Road then 2nd right into Streatham Drive. Take the right hand fork onto Prince of Wales Road which will lead you onto Streatham Campus where Hope Hall is based.
On Foot : From the main exit at Exeter St David’s Train Station walk down the right hand side of the car park and cross over Bonhay Road (there are pedestrian traffic lights). Turn left and then right into St Clements Lane. Walk up the hill. Cross over St David’s Hill and go up Howell Road straight ahead. Walk over the next set of pedestrian traffic lights and turn to your left. The next main right hand turn is Streatham Drive; take this and follow the fork to the left. This will lead you to Hope Hall on the University of Exeter Streatham Campus.

It was a very nice stay in Exeter University / Hope Hall. Historic building, nice rooms, very helpful staff, quiet and free parking facilities - you could not ask for more.

Excellent value for money and very comfortable rooms at Hope Hall. An excellent stopover on our way to Cornwall. We would certainly do it again
