Griffin House Hotel excellent! The staff were phenomenally friendly and professional. Having a 24 hour manned reception in a small establishment was very reassuring. Everywhere was thoroughly clean and my room was tidy, comfortable and surprisingly quiet in a central London location. I got a great night's sleep. Lovely continental breakfast as well. For budget accommodation right in the heart of London, I couldn't have asked for better

Nice and friendly personnel at Griffin House Hotel. Clean and tidy. Well kept. Rooms so small you can hardly open your suitcase. Poor insulation makes cold air and noise from the street come in

Hotel room clean and small, very close to Hyde Park, breakfast was scrambled egg or omelette, plus a choice of cereal and fruit yogurt, no tea or coffee in room, staff very welcoming at Griffin House Hotel
