Wake Up London was very nice and clean. People in reception were helpful and facilities were great! Negative comment: Loud noises at night coming from other rooms.

Wake Up London is a great hostel, is totally excellent if you travel on a tight budget with some friends, or with your girlfriend, great Wake Up staff they did everything they could to make my stay as pleasant as possible, very flexible(was able to check in at 11pm, no problem, 24h acces...). The possibility to cook your own meals at Wake Up London is also great, a nice big clean kitchen to do so and a great place to meet young people from around the world. Wouldn't recommend Wake Up Hostel for people who want just a quiet trip to London, but for all you backpackers, students and other wackos out there, this is the place to be! Definately will book it again with TravelStay, next time I visit London!

Wake Up Hostel is a great place to stay when youre on a budget and has a fantastic location, but no lift...and doesn't have all the facilities you'd get in a hotel
By Christine (31 Aug 2005)
The location is excellent! However please be aware that this hostel does not have a lift or air conditining, and that the DJ plays loud music till 3am, which you can hear from upstairs!
By Malte C. Lachmann (19 Aug 2005)
Stayed there for 10 nights and had a great time! If you know the average English standard, you'll be absolutely satisfied with what you get! The only disadvantage certainly is the constant noise (especially during night), so bring your own ear-plugs! Apart from that: Great staff, nice guests, handy facilities and clean rooms and if you're not too keen on staying in your room all the time, that's the best (=cheapest) place to go! Have fun...

Just returned from Wake Up! and would return in a heartbeat. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, comfortable & clean rooms. The bar downstairs was convenient and the location of the hostel was close to Paddington, an easy way to get anywhere. Restaurants in the area closeby, and the travel desk was helpful in arranging our trip to Scotland, as well as getting us theatre tickets to Fame and Phantom! Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel. Staff were friendly. very busy and worth the money. Only problem i had was with the DJ who I did not personally like, but that was a while ago

I really enjoyed staying here. The location is great and the area is lovely. The fact that there is a bar downstairs makes it so easy to meet people which is great and so much fun. The crew is really cool and nice. Negatives? The water vending machine was broken and there are tons of doors in the halls which aren't completely necessary and make it more difficult to move in and out. Other than that everything is good and I want to go back! ;)

I highly recommend the wake up hotel! the staff are young, motivated and friendly, and they really take care of their customers! animation in the bar is always great fun! very close to paddington tube: from there you can get everywhere! The travel desk is a great way to get some ideas of what there is to do in london and staff are very helpful and can arrange discounts! rooms are very basic and low comfort but you have everything you need! I highly recommend it for young people!

Cheap, but one person on the reception was very unfriendly. The breakfast was ok. The window didn't close completly.

just came back from london and the wake up hostel is really cool!! there is a great atmosphere, the people are very kind, you are always welcome and I would recommend it to anyone who goes to london!!
By J.P. Wearing (7 Dec 2004)
Single room was small but reasonably clean. Sheets etc changed regularly. Prepacked breakfast is unappetizing. Also there's a noisy bar in the basement that stays open until 3 am.

Brill place. Lively atmosphere. Great people. Would recommend it to anyone whether travelling on a budget or not. Make you feel really welcome.
