If you are looking for a cheap room near the airport to save time and also save yourself or your company from paying high London prices, Heathrow Lodge is the place is for you, a bargain! My company loves the savings. But remember you get what you pay for
It was difficult to find Heathrow Lodge in the dark but very comfortable room. The room was up stairs,so difficult to bring my luggage through
For the price we paid our stay at Heathrow Lodge was acceptable with regard to the standard of service provided, However I have to say I think that when you pay for a bed for the night it is not unreasonable to expect some peace and quiet. Our room was right next to a heavy fire door, which I understand has to be kept closed, but the soft close arm on the door had broken and throughout the night it was slamming. This coupled with the electronic entry to the staff areas which is fitted with a pin code system beeps loudly everytime it is used, with each press of the number pad and a tune to celebrate a successful entry, it seems. Very annoying! Also we were only given one towel for the two of us
Heathrow Lodge is very conveniently situated. Comfortable bed. I shall consider it for future visits via Heathrow
The price was average at Heathrow Lodge. Be aware there is only wifi in the center building, and you have to pay 10 pounds extra to stay there. Bathrooms were small and cramped, but the rooms were a decent size and clean. This hostel is conveniently located to the Heathrow Airport, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're staying for more than a night
