Ascot Hyde Park Hotel was excellent value for money, great location and very clean
Great location with Paddington Station a 5 minute walk, plenty of food places including lovely Italian Restaurants. Comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom which was very clean. I would book Ascot Hyde Park Hotel again
Great located, near Paddington Underground Station - rooms are very loud to next door, you can hear noise from your neighbour - breakfast should be better.
Upon arrival, the man on the desk thought I said "chicken" instead of "check-in for Peter Holly". The rooms were clean and tidy, loads of tea and coffee and the usual bathroom soaps etc. The room was baking hot with windows wide open, no sign of a fan or AC, and no extractors in the bathroom. The shower was awful, no water pressure whatsoever, and the hot water lasted for less than 30 secs. The staff were friendly enough.
Great hotel in Central London at the right price, which was just what I needed. Emphasis on value, this is a cheap hotel but it does offer good value for money. The shower was very good offering very hot water and good pressure. A small bad point to made was the window felt as if it was about to fall off its hinges and also had a very large crack through it
