Service at The Cranford Hotel was good except two worse things. 1. Extremely noisy in the night 2. Lost my railcard and return tickets in the hotel room

What a fantastic hotel At first was a bit weary of the location and all the cars going past doing twice the speed limit. Short walk to the train station. Room was basic but perfect for one night for the two of us. Can not fault the receptionist. She was extremely helpful and gave us everything we asked for. Breakfast was basic but very good. Prefer a self serve breakfast and unlimited tea and coffee. Fabulous kitchen staff too. Would definitely book The Cranford Hotel again if we were back in the area. Amazing value for money!
