The Swinton Hotel had a very good breakfast, but a small bathroom makes this a 4-rating. Overall satisfied with this stay in a quiet street.

I fell in love with the Swinton hotel. The room is small but cozy and is good value for money. I am not satisfied with the internet connection though, too slow.

Friendly staff; clean rooms; small rooms - but all you need (including hair dryer); good continental breakfast. We'll book Swinton Hotel again

Positive points: the room itself was very adequate and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was nice. Negative points: the reception area was shabby. Not a fault of the hotel but I would not recommend this area for female travellers needing to walk back to hotel at night

Great budget hotel in great location. Not good decor everywhere but clean. All usual facilities. Even had french door into secluded garden. Definitely be staying here again when I need to stay in Kings Cross/Euston area

Bedroom and bathroom both nice and clean but needs some decoration, bedding and towels clean and fresh. Breakfast, good selection of cereals toast etc. Overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay, we would happily stay at Swinton Hotel again - very good value

5 minutue walk from Kings Cross Station, had a decent pub at the bottom of the road where you could drink outside and had good food. The room was ok, the breakfast was basic but there are loads of cafes around which offer cheap full English breakfasts. Its a no frills budget London hotel and as it was a lads football weekend it was the ideal place and I will use Swinton Hotel again

This London accommodation is very basic but clean, fine for short stays in London. Asked for an extra pillow which was promptly supplied. Plentiful self service continental breakfast

For two stars this was an incredible hotel with even the small details taken care of. Arrived to: - TV in room - Hairdryer in room - Phone - Complimentary tea and coffee, water and biscuits - Two towels (hadn't expected) - Very clean room and bathroom all made up - Even the toilet roll was folded over! Never seen that before. Would definitely come back again to stay and will be recommending it to other friends absolutely

Clean, practical, functional budget accommodation, nice to have a fresh room daily, downside, busy street if at the front of the hotel, traffic, police sirens and loud people on the street kept me from sleeping so, light sleepers, pack the ear-plugs
