I would certainly book this hotel again and recommend it for people needing to work in central London without doing the tourist bit. I just wanted a place to kip while I freelanced in the City and aside from a slightly over long commute it was fine. The rooms were a little dated but I felt this added to the charm and the exterior of the building never failed to put me in a good mood. TV facilities were fine, in fact so were all of the in room facilities, and the staff were friendly. The bathroom in my room could certainly so with updating but at the same time was not uncomfortably outmoded – the kind of grubby that comes with age rather than a lack of cleanliness. As I can anticipate this sort of work again, I will certainly be booking the Osborne Hotel from here on in

Very clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful welcome. Comfy bed and everything worked. Extra help with luggage was great. Osborne Hotel is recommended for location and budget particularly

Osborne Hotel is close to underground. Good breakfast in a restaurant near the underground. The bed was not good. The water in shower was either very hot or very cold. Nice staff

Very easy to find. A convenient car park for up to about 8 cars. Very near to Acton Town Station, it was perfect for my drive down to London and commute on the tube. I was even allowed to park my car the next day even though I'd checked out which was very helpful. Greeted by a very friendly man who showed me to my room and saw I had everything I needed. I had a single room which was not as cramped as I've experienced in other single capacity rooms in other London hotels. The decor was a bit dated but there was plenty of drawers and cupboards to store stuff in and 3 mirrors! Everything was clean. Ensuite bathroom was clean though it did smell a bit damp. Supplied with soap and a towel. TV worked (woo!) and free good WiFi make the stay much more bearable. The bed was freshly washed and not too hard. I turned the TV round on its pivot and just watched that in bed ha. I could hear the nearby tube but it wasn't that loud and I also had the window open. I did hear a door in the hotel being slammed shut a couple of times during the night but luckily I'm an easy sleeper, I slept quite well, I felt safe anyway. All round, it was basic but clean and comfortable and warm. I'm not fussy as long as the place is clean and the TV works. Fusspots might not like the whiffy bathroom, the tired decor, or the hotels location (its in a bit of a built up area, and opposite is a block of flats with no windows) but it was perfectly serviceable. It was the kind receptionist, the cleanliness and the adjacent tube station and free car park that made my stay. I would book Osbourne Hotel again
