O’Callaghan’s is the place for you if you’re a hard working, hard playing backpacker who wants to meet like-minded people during your stay in the capital. Providing cheap and basic hostel accommodation just a stone’s throw from Earls Court Underground Station, O’Callaghan’s specialises in young Australian, New Zealand and South African backpackers aged between 18 and 30. The local area has become known as ‘Kangaroo Alley’, so those of you from down-under will feel well at home in Earls Court.
Homely O’Callaghan’s offers 24 hour access and reception so you can come and go as you please. There are mixed three- and four-bed dorms as well as female-only and male-only dorms, all with access to shared bathrooms. If you want more privacy and comfort there are ensuite twins with shower and WC. To help keep costs down you’ll be paying for Room Only accommodation, but you won’t have to go far for a meal as Earls Court is home to cheap cafes, bars and restaurants. There’s a shared kitchen too.

O’Callaghan’s is located in Earls Court, which is home to a number of affordable places to eat and drink so you won’t have far to go to enjoy a cheap night out. Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition Centres are also just a short stroll away and play host to a number of big name bands, singers and events. For some day-time culture you could head over to South Kensington and visit the Science Museum, Natural History Museum or Victoria & Albert Museum. Heathrow Airport is just 40 minutes away by tube.
