We booked one triple with private bathroom and it was perfect for one night stay in London. My two children, 5 and 14 years old, also enjoyed the stay at Normandie Hotel London. Booking was easy and payment at reception was straight forward. Breakfast was no problem. Furniture a bit old like the carpet, but nice clean bedding and towels. Thank you

The Normandie Hotel London looked very nice from the outside but the room was very shabby. The receptionist informed me he had 'upgraded' me to a bigger room but there was still very little space. The space on the wall where the bed was looked like the headboard had been screwed on but was now missing. There was no cold water in the room so we had to brush teeth with hot water (both taps!) also we were unable to have a proper shower as the water was so hot it would scald if you stood under it. I did report this in the morning as I feel this is a real danger. What made it worse is that they gave me the impression they knew about this problem but were unable to do anything! The beds however were comfortable and the sheets were clean. I have a feeling if anyone staying one night they put guests in this room as I'm sure if I was staying longer I would ask to see another room. The breakfast was brought to us in a matter of minutes after giving our order but was cold which confirmed to me it had been lying out for a while. Staff were polite, but having a self catering property myself, I do not think this was value for money. Shame cause it's in a great location just outside Paddington Station, just needs a little bit of care and attention to detail and guests will return

I booked the basic Twin Room and found it was very basic and small. However the breakfast was adequate and the bedding was spotless. 

My room was a basement next to the kitchen so I got all the smells of fried bacon at breakfast time, the bed was not comfortable at all! But the staff at Normandie Hotel London were really friendly and efficient and the hotel(not expensive) was central to shopping, pubs and transport facilities

Normandie Hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly. The outside noise is a bit disturbing and it was difficult to get the water from the shower to warm up but it is suitable for a short stay as the tariff is quite attractive

Everything was great, location excellent so near to the underground and on the bus route. Pretty location, 5 mins walk from Hyde Park. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and everywhere in the hotel was clean. The breakfast was enjoyable and we were served very quickly. The only thing that was negative was the furnishings were tired and need updating or replacing. We would definitely recommend a stay in this hotel and would book Normandie Hotel London again

Normandie Hotel London is in a good location, few minutes to Paddington Station. Room is little, but quite ok if you are staying for a day or two. English breakfast below expectations. 24/7 reception if you arrive in the middle of the night
