Very friendly staff who will make sure you are happy with the service. The pub downstairs is very nice. Try the brownie & vanilla & baileys sundae. It's to die for. We really enjoyed our stay at New Market House!

New Market Hotel stay was what we expected from its two star rating. We enjoyed breakfast in warm friendly pub. Our room was clean but could be improved on. Double bed was comfy but 4 pillows instead of 3 save the fighting over 2nd pillow would be good. All in all we would book the New Market House again if we come back to London. With thanks Tina+Keith

New Market House was easy to find, I walked from Euston station. The staff were polite and helpful, the room as described, the bathroom clean and fresh. Compared to colleagues staying in the well known budget London hotels nearer Camden high street, I was really pleased to get what I thought was an excellent deal

What a splendid, quirky and atmospheric place! A 20 minute walk down a straight road from Kings Cross underground/train station. Didn't expect it to be a pub. Rooms were next door for couples. Upon arrival we had an extra guest and the man who served me was very kind and gracious about upgrading our double room to 3 singles for next to nothing! The beds were camp bed types but we're extremely comfy. For us 3 students, who were doing stuff on a budget, it was ideal. It was a bed and a roof for over our heads, and considering we were only staying for one night, we were all very happy! Breakfast included pastries, ham, eggs, cheese, toast and cereals. The pastries were delicious - couldn't help but go back for more! Everything was fresh and kept being topped up. Staff were very friendly, warm and inviting. Consequently, not the ideal place if you were walking (like we did) to the Alexandria Palace as it is an hour and half walk. However, we all seemed to enjoy the leisurely stroll up to Ally Pally and would happily stay at the hotel again. With regards to the look of the hotel rooms, it is simple and empty. But you pay for what you get. Even though it is a 2* hotel, we would rate it 5/5 for comfort, warm, inviting and friendly. A 2/5 for location in regards our purpose of coming to London, but it is only a 20 minute walk to Kings Cross and main city area so 4/5 on that! Breakfast was basic and simple but still enjoyable 3/5 and it kept us going till lunchtime! Would book New Market House again, perfect for budget and students. I mean who wouldn't want to sleep over a pub?! Very enjoyable stay

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the room basic but comfy. Could do with some new carpets/paint work etc but the friendliness of the staff made up for this! Good location and easy walk from Camden, however on a busy road so quite noisy. I would still book New Market House again. Thank you

I was chuffed with this place for the price. I was working in the area and not after anything fancy but even at a budget rate the hotel punches above its weight. Proper clean, comfy bed, free WiFi, decent TV and best of all was the Ale House bar. I’m not a Camden type of person, but if I was it would have been perfect because it’s just a short walk to the top attractions. Served my purposes well, friendly staff and great vibe. Definitely gonna book again
