Stayed in a twin ensuite, lovely large room, with nice decor. Furniture a little dated, but nice and good quality. Lovely powerful shower, bit small, but is student accommodation after all! Staff couldn't do enough to help and very nice too. Didn't have breakfast although it was included as we had to leave early but I'm sure it would have been good too. Well worth the cost which was incredible value for money. Thank you, I will book Collingwood College again

Everything that I could expect it to be and more. Having stayed at a Hall of Residence at another University about 6 weeks ago and frankly politely described it as a slum, I was very doubtful. The accommodation and the welcome at Collingwood College convinced me that it really was possible to stay in excellent budget rooms

My daughter and I had a great night stopover at Collingwood College. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful. Lovely green, peaceful location with an easy walk into town. Facilities were great and breakfast was wonderfully set out and full of choice. We will most certainly book Collingwood College again and are now converted to university holiday accommodation

Wonderful location of Collingwood College, perfect walking distance to the Cathedral. Comfortable room, great breakfast, terrible coffee. Bit difficult to check in after business hours but very kind staff.

I stayed two nights in this historical college! Everything was perfect! The bedroom and the bathroom were clean! And it's quiet to have a good sleep during the night! I'll will definitely book Collingwood College if I visit Durham again

Have stayed at Collingwood College several times previously. Consider it good value for money with clean, comfortable rooms, adequate breakfast, free parking and very pleasant location. Stay unfortunately marred on this occasion by certain other inconsiderate guests returning around 3am making a row in the corridors. This continued intermittently for about half an hour. Difficult to get back to sleep afterwards.
