Good value at Grove Hill Hotel, Basic bed and breakfast. Decor was a bit shabby and basic changes could have made a big difference. Shower head had no attachment to the wall, no shower curtain, no bin liner in the bathroom bin. On the plus side, bed was very comfortable and sheets clean. Cooked breakfast was cooked well but poor quality ingredients, friendly chef though. All in all, OK for the price but really small changes could make a bit improvement. Outside needs some paint too

Room at Grove Hill Hotel warm and clean with plenty of hot water. However contrary to details advertised there was no kettle and no hairdryer and they refused to provide the kettle even though kettle with cup and teabags, coffee etc were in the same room on a previous visit. Did supply hairdryer eventually. Bath shower attachment did not operate properly. Very quiet building and good location

Dated hotel that needs a bit of modernizing and maybe some new beds. But in fairness, the price per night at Grove Hill Hotel is extremely reasonable, less than half of what you would pay in surrounding hotels. Had breakfast last time I stayed and was excellent. Friendly staff

We really enjoyed our stay at Grove Hill Hotel. It was extremely good value for money, clean room with everything provided ie en suite, clean sheets, towels and good food. Staff were helpful and generous, despite us being late for breakfast on our first day! We would definitely recommend Grove Hill Hotel and hope to return in the future
