This is cheap and cheerful English BnB and I really like it. It is not special like a posh super hotel but it is warm and comfortable and clean. It was no frills but I love it because the staff act like it is Buckingham Palace! Very kind and friendly. My room was simple but cosy and I sleeped so well! Nearby is such beautiful places such as Holland Park and Notting Hill! I feel like a real Londoner! It is cheap and my room was a bit small but it was nice

Very clean rooms, very comfortable, staff was very friendly and polite, helped us with our bags and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast room was very over crowded could do with bigger dining area, other than that no other issues, would highly recommend and would definitely book Golden Strand Hotel again in the near future

We found the hotel finished to a really nice standard, with very helpful and polite staff. The bed was really comfortable, and the seating area at the front was a welcome place for smokers like myself. The breakfast was well presented and a very good start to the day ahead. as was the local information guides/ leaflets, my only criticism is that the room was really hot, and the radiator could be turned off at night from about 9pm, as it was really close to the bed in room 33. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely book Golden Strand Hotel again at some point. Many thanks to all your staff for the helpful and polite service. Have a very happy 2015

We had a lovely one night stay and found the rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast room was lovely with an area to sit outside and the breakfast was freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend and book Golden Strand Hotel again

The room was clean and recently painted - although shower room was very small. Dining room was also very clean, bright and also looked as if it had been recently painted. Breakfast was also good and included eggs even although it was a continental breakfast.

The Golden Strand Hotel was clean and good value for money. Breakfast bit of a low standard; like a full English but we only had the choice of scrambled or fried egg.

Excellent stay! The Golden Strand was a good hotel and in a very convenient location. Everything was in order. Thoroughly recommended.
