Generally a good stay at Borough Rooms. Friendly receptionist, clean and very basic rooms. The issue which really let it down though we're the amount of foreign teenagers that were left to run a mock unsupervised in the corridors being very loud. I stayed with a small child so would have appreciated quiet nights. There were other families there as well so maybe a dedicated family or quiet floor would be in order

This is a very budget hotel, more like a hostel. It was very cheap and it is very big so there are very many people. I think there is some big nightclubs near me though because people are awake very early in the morning and are quite loud. This was my luck though. I think the hotel was quite clean and it is about ten minutes by walking for the underground station (Elephant and Castle). I found a way to walk to London Bridge that was only a little bit longer. The location is not very brilliant but it is near some good places. If it is quieter I will stay again because is very cheap

Borough Rooms was nice and clean although room very small. This is acceptable for the price but outside noise quite loud as windows are old sash windows and the road noise is quite bad. I had to put ear plugs in! Lack of seating at breakfast at busy times. As it's a London hostel, there are a lot of young people which might not suit an older traveller

It was absolutely heart-warming to have assistance from workers who care about how you experience your stay. It was my first time staying at Borough Rooms and I really appreciated their accommodation

Good stay at Borough Rooms with clean room, great price and a very good central location. Would have been good if you can get soap for the shower but got some from Tesco across the road so was not really and issue. Also single glazed windows means the traffic noise can be heard in the morning but I had earplugs

Good service for money. Booking was easy and had no problem with it upon arrival. Very good breakfast, very complete English breakfast. Clean premises in general and clean and tidy services in particular. Would recommend Borough Rooms for travellers just wanting to get a bed to rest and a good breakfast to start the day

The receptionists at Borough Rooms are very welcoming and helpful. Covered all the important details of the accommodation and also assisted with things to do around London for the duration of my stay. I would definitely come again. The rooms were clean and tidy. The rating would be 5/5 -but remember you get what you pay for. I had a really basic room, cheapest I could find, but I was super chuffed about it
