I was very impressed with the rooms and their value for money. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Bed was very uncomfortable, and had to leave at 4am on the second night of our stay because the students in the building were having a loud party.

We booked a room supposedly suitable for disabled users and we reminded the receptionist when we arrived. She confirmed that the room allocated was for disabled visitors. 1. The room allocated was on the first floor and although there was a lift, if a fire had occurred then we would've been stuck as lifts cannot be used during a fire. 2. The room was very small and no way could a wheelchair get in. The bathroom was too small with no grab rails or shower seat. My husband had to hold on to me in order to shower. 3. The television had a picture but no sound. We checked and re-checked the manual, but to no avail. 4. The bed was an absolute disaster. It was lumpy with springs digging into our bodies and stained bedding. My daughter, who we were visiting, had to lend us a duvet cover/sheets etc. We realise that the accommodation was very cheap and we expected it to be basic. However we feel that 'basic' is no excuse for the above. Good points - the lift(!), and the secure parking - excellent

It is a nice place to stay, highly recommended. Slight negative was that bathroom had some problems in room 104.

Well recommended for friends who want to enjoy the beauty of Scotland and saving for accommodation.

We always stay at the Beersbridge when we come back to Glasgow to visit family. The rooms are small but comfortable, although the beds are quite hard, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We stay here about 4 times a year.

The hotel itself was fine. Clean and acceptable for the price we paid. The room was also ok, with a bed and dressing table as well as a drawer to hang clothes. The only problem we felt was the mattress was very old and poked our backs and needed replacing and there were no hangers to hang our clothes. The staff allowed us to check in early and check out late, so that was very good of them. There was a kitchen to use, clean but very limited utensils.

I would stay there any time; it’s clean and close to the city centre.

I would not recommend staying here due to the cleanliness; the bath room was disgusting and had quite obviously not been cleaned! There was also a vile smell throughout the room, we did actually check out after half an hour, although it is very affordable there was no excuse for the room not being clean. The area was also quite run down and not near anything of any interest.

Have stayed at Firhill Road on many occasions and although I can see a number of improvements have been made the only let down for our group on this occasion was the bed in both rooms was completely and utterly past its sell by date in the other room the couple said the springs were sticking through so badly they got out of bed @ 4am and turned the mattress, in our room the mattress seemed to have major lumps in it where the springs were beginning to give way besides this the bedside lamp didn’t work and in the other room could not reach to beside the bed so was a bit pointless being there. Other than the beds and lamps everything else was as expected with budget accommodation and we do prefer having the use of the kitchen facilities which we think are excellent. The only other thing we can think of is perhaps an option to be overlooking the rear or the front as an option when booking as previously we have always looked out over the football stadium and found this much quieter at night but perhaps we were a tad unlucky with the other guests who were quite noisy on returning in the early hours of the morning.
