	•	On Foot	:	Barkston Rooms is only a 4 minute walk from Earl's Court Tube Station (District and Piccadilly lines) and only 8 minutes from Gloucester Road Tube Station (Circle, District and Piccadilly lines). Leave Earls Court Tube Station, exit onto Earls Court Road and start walking to your right. Turn left into Barkston Gardens and follow the road round until you come to number 1, where Barkston Rooms is located.

Great localisation really near the subway, the room was good, clean and spacious enough. The bad points were that the room is not soundproof at all. We could hear doors closing, people going up and down the stairs. And the showers are too tiny! No place to put on clothes outside the shower, juste 15cm between the shower and the door. Overall, Barkston Rooms is good for a short stay and good ratio price/quality

Good price for a central area, with good security. Barkston Rooms is a no-frills establishment. The bed linen was fine, the bed itself has been put to good use throughout its life and is still in service. Take your own towel unless you want to hire one and make sure you bring your own soap for the shower. The water was hot. Staying on the top floor meant that I got a good workout.
