Places to see in London Gatwick Airport

Hotels near Gatwick Airport

Gatwick Airport Attractions
By virtue of the fact that Gatwick Airport is, well, an airport, you’d be forgiven for thinking that there isn’t masses to do here. You would be wrong. For a start, you’re next-door to the historic town of Horley, which boasts delightful, timber-fronted houses from times of yore and a rather massive array of curry restaurants. The high street has some fantastic shops, but if you’d rather do something a bit more adventurous, we’d recommend going to the Fernhill Riding Centre and trying your hand at horse riding.

Recommended Attraction in Gatwick Airport
If you can’t make it the couple of miles out of town, or it’s evening and you want something to do before an early flight, we’d suggest catching a play at the Archway Theatre; a small, local theatre that puts on a range of popular, fun and challenging plays.

Alternative Things To Do in Gatwick Airport
Finally, you could get yourself to Let’s Race!, a centre with a range of F1 and other racing simulators. Go alone and challenge yourself on time trials or race a friend. This really is a novel and fun way of passing those pre-flight hours!
