Leave the M8 at Junction 1 and take the left hand slip road onto The City of
Edinburgh Bypass. When you come to the first roundabout take the last exit onto
the A8 and follow this road into the centre of town. You will eventually get to
Princes Street, where you should turn right down North Bridge, past Waverley
Station. Finally, turn right onto Cowgate and you will arrive at Cowgate Tourist
Hostel.
