Throughout the city there are various concerts, parades and church services you can attend to remember those who have died at war, many of which take place in the morning to mark the 11am two-minute silence.

One of the biggest events of the day is the Queen's tribute at the Cenotaph in Westminster, where she will lay a wreath during a military ceremony on the closed-off streets, watched by thousands of people in the crowds and on TV.

If you head down to the Cenotaph, you can see more than 7,000 ex-servicemen and women march past the monument, including civilians and war widows.

Remembrance Sunday in London 2014 takes place on November 9th and the Queen's tribute ends at Whitehall. You can join the crowds Westminster tube station.
