The Croydon Court Hotel was clean and tidy, with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are small but comfortable for overnight stay close to Gatwick Airport. Nothing to see or do in the immediate area but it's a 5 min bus ride to Croydon town centre. Both West and East Croydon train stations are 10 min from hotel. Continental breakfast was fine for us but they do offer full breakfast for nominal charge. There is Free WI-FI too. Would not hesitate to recommend for overnight stay close to airport.

I stayed here for a couple of nights before my flight back home and it was conveniently located close to Gatwick Airport and also Central London. The room I was in was small but nice and clean. Breakfast each morning was nice and the staff were friendly, even arranging a wake up call for me the morning of my flight. My only problem was the lighting in the room wasn't that good and the shower didn't work so well. Apart from those minor issues I would stay at Croydon Court Hotel again if I need to fly out of Gatwick.

Only stayed for 1 night, after a 6 hour journey it was good to have a clean bed. However, the rooms need refurbishing. The breakfast was OK, pretty average

It took a week until the toilet in our room was properly repaired. The lampshade from the table lamp came very close to burning and was extremely tatty. The taps were full of scale and didn't make a very pleasant sight. The hallways were dirty and a fire exit door was bolted with the remarkable notice stating in case of fire to first go to the office to collect the key for the padlock! A fire exit should not be an obstacle course. On reaching our rooms, we often discovered that the electronic key hadn't been scanned, so we had to return to the reception area to have it done. Not always easy as we had seven mentally disabled people with us. The staff spoke little to very poor English, which I found odd for a hotel in London. At the very least those working on the reception should have been proficient in the English language
