You’ll find it easy to get to Notting Hill to experience the colourful Portobello Road Market. Other places you could walk around are High Street Kensington, Kensington Palace, Hyde Park and Oxford Street.

Directions
	•	From Heathrow Airport	:	Follow signposts to the M4 and leave the airport by the tunnel. Go under the motorway and straight over the roundabout, keeping to the left lane. The sign to Hayes/Comfort Inn direct you into Shepiston Lane. The hotel is on the right, after the Fires Station and Comfort Inn, exactly one mile after entering Shepiston Lane.
	•	By Train	:	Hayes & Harlington Train Station is 10 minutes away from Shepiston Lodge Heathrow. If you have baggage with you it’s best to get a taxi from the station to your hotel.
	•	By Car	:	Take exit 4 from M4 motorway and follow the sign to Hayes. The hotel is in Shepiston Lane, fifty yards from Comfort Inn and Hayes Fire Station.

We were disappointed with the room, it was really small and badly ventilated. Also, we were under the impression that the hotel was close to Heathrow Airport, however it cost us over 30GBP to get there by taxi. The breakfast was fine and the staff were really helpful, advising us of the shuttle bus to return to the airport for our ongoing journey

My two-year-old son and I enjoyed our time staying at the Shepiston Lodge Heathrow for 4 nights. The owners and the staff were lovely and helpful, especially to my son. It is a great child-friendly place to stay. It is very easy to get to public transport-wise, as we had no car. The continental breakfast was brilliant everyday. Our twin room was excellent too; very warm and it had everything we needed in there. I would recommend my friends/family to book there if they needed accommodation near the airport and would book there myself in the future if need be.

Close to Heathrow, very reasonably priced. Good place to crash for a night after a long flight. Nice staff and good breakfast. Cheap and cheerful
